In 2002 Brock realized that it was time to get serious about developing what had become his number one passion, music. Paying the bills as a dance instructor and choreographer Brock devoted his spare time to exercising his creative genius. The therapy of song writing led Brock to the story line of a musical production.

Building lyrics and melodies to this developed story line and combining his choreographic talents Brock produced his first musical theatre production, 77mins (see www.77minutes.com requires QuickTime Player). Accompanied by a live 7 piece rock band, Brock told the story by singing his original songs while the dancers told the same story through the choreography. The “Dancical” premiered to sell out crowds at the Vancouver International Dance Festival in March of 2006.

Brock is currently developing his second Musical Production “Ricochet” to premiere once again at the Vancouver International Dance Festival in March of 2007.

Brock Jellison Bio

Brock Jellison was born and raised in Northern British Columbia. Although Brock trained as a dancer from an early age he always had an uncanny ability with musical instruments and lyrics. His professional career began right after high school when he was picked up by Dean Perry’s Tap Dogs and embarked on a National tour. Brock also spent time cruising the world performing with Norwegian and Princess Cruise lines.
