The Brandon Reagor Band is a folk rock group based in Jacksonville, FL, with music reminiscent of Howie Day, Dave Matthews, and Five for Fighting with varied past and present influences. The group has performed for youth groups, church rallies, cafes, and frequent the Murray Hill Theatre. They also lead worship in addition to performing their own songs. Right now they are focused on recording new tracks for an upcoming EP release.

With percussionist Josh Revels, Brandon and the band look to create an opportunity for listeners to experience the love of God, as songs often focuses on the relational aspect of Christianity. They want to call Christians out to a radical faith that is much more about how we live out our faith than how we speak it.

What It's All About

Among the ease of the Florida beaches, the urgency of the booming city, and the roots of southern rock, country and gospel, Brandon Reagor blends reflective songwriting with modern rock. His music is reminiscent of Howie Day, Dave Matthews, and Five for Fighting with varied past and present influences. Brandon has long been active in the music scene formerly playing concerts and rallies as front man of the alternative rock band Dust2Dust, and more recently performing acoustic acts as a singer songwriter and praise and worship leader. He has been involved with the BCM ministry at UNF, leading worship music for churches and youth groups, and his music has also been featured on Ultimate Choice TV. Brandon is trying to get back to songwriting, particularly songs that explore the relational aspect of Christianity, and how this relationship with Christ affects our moment by moment consciousness of the world around us. He notes, "It's funny what God does when you quit asking Him to fight for you, and you realize He's fighting WITH you. In the brokenness, new dreams may be realized or the same old dream revived." He and his band mates are also busy recording new material, "Table for Two" being the latest release. Besides being an active musician, Brandon is also the Student Pastor at Cedar Bay Baptist in Jacksonville, and a senior-year English major at UNF.

As an artist, Brandon really has a heart to reach out to Christians stuck in the same old daily rituals and religion. Jesus Christ called us to a radical faith that's not about forming isolated church communities. It's about connecting with those around you through the love of God without bias or self-interest, creating a unified body focused on His kingdom work, discipling those around us with Biblical foundations, and impacting our communities with Godly love and Godly values through service and actions not just words. It's about loving God and loving each other.
