Bill Turner is a long time professional string musician and vocalist. Recording credits include commercial spots for MTV; DVD soundtrack for Sesame Street; film score "The Crusaders" and numerous CD releases for various artists. Instruments played: electric, acoustic & classical guitar; dobro; 5 string banjo; mandolin; fiddle; autoharp; harmonica & electric bass.
Retro rock, ethnic and country musical styles a specialty.
Awards include 2004 Telly Award and 2005 Aurora Award.

Artist Bio

Residing in the greater NYC area, Bill Turner has been performing for 4 decades in nightclubs, fairs, conventions, recording sessions and private engagements, including a 10 year stint in Atlantic City at Bally's Casino.
In the 70s, Bill toured worldwide as the lead guitarist with Bill Haley & His Comets, and in 2007 appeared in Germany on his own.
His "Blue Smoke" band is top quality band, appearing with him on all of his personal appearances.
