I was born four short years before George Lucas's Tie Fighters first graced our screens, into a North West England working-class backgound. Brought up on a diet of Barry Manilow and Barbra Streisand by parents who worked in the long forgotten industry of quality clothes-making.

From singing like a cherub during primary school, through my first synthesizer during high school to my first electric guitar in college - I was always able to find some way to make a noise (not necessarily a nice one, but a noise nonetheless).

My music varies genre from song to song but there will always be at least one harmony. I've tried to give them up but they just keep creeping in there.

I hope at least some of you enjoy (at least) some of what you hear... here.

By the way, I am a big fan of the word 'sponge'.

April is currently the month for the relocation to Montreal, Canada.
We all need a change of scenery sometimes. It might not be better, but at least it's different. ;)

Influences

Musical influences include Barenaked Ladies, Counting Crows, Crowded House and Del Amitri. Though I am a fan of Aerosmith, Depeche Mode, Garbage, Linkin' Park and The Prodigy. In fact, I'm more of a song person. If a song is good - it's good, I don't care if I'm not usually fond of the artist.

It's supposed to be about the music, right?
