Billboard Top 40 Dance hit "Someone to hold" was not quite the beginning for April. A professional singer since the age of 9 and songwriter since she was 13 writing music became a passion and an outlet documented through her music.
Forming and leading a highly popular NJCover band "Band of Gold" in 1994 she perfected the craft of singing many different styles of music. Repertoires ranging from Beyonce, Celine Dion, acoustic singer songwriter songs, to high energy dance music including 1930s torch to 2009 hip hop. With all that experience and an aching need to sing and write heartfelt songs that utilize her vocal range and texture, her music tells you how she feels. Her own style makes a sound all her own.
