Anna Sali is a vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist from Idaho whose sound and lyrics already demonstrate a far-more global reach touching on many universal themes. Singer/songwriter Anna Sali hails from Boise, Idaho, and is largely self-taught having started playing her first guitar (from the Yamaha Compass series) at the age of 15, after which she found that she couldn’t put it down. She had started singing at the age of 11, but picking up that guitar fueled her development into the truly noteworthy, memorable singer/songwriter that she has become. Many have said that her warm, intensely personal music almost defies classification. Her warm vocals meld with her acoustic guitar work paying tribute to a range of influences—all characterized by her distinctive touch. Anna states that the songs themselves spring from within, and her listeners find that they offer often-haunting sounds and messages of surprising diversity. The versatility of her lyrics and music reflect so many different moods and messages, particularly notable from such a young artist.
