Andrew Goldring Bio

Andrew Goldring began blowing audiences away as an 11-year-old blues-rock guitarist. He's moved on from guitar contests, blues jams and barbecue joints and has matured into a formidable songwriting talent. Taking influence from many great songwriters - Dylan, Lennon/McCartney, Ryan Adams (to name a few) - Now, at age 17, Andrew is a seasoned performer with an advanced guitar technique and strong songwriting skills. With influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and Hendrix to Django Reinhardt and Miles Davis, Andrew's well-informed roots lead him to travel a wide musical road. Folk, rock and blues make up much of his original music, although he ventures everywhere from jazz to heavy metal. He's equally comfortable playing his original folk songs at a coffee house as he is soloing on electric guitar for festival audiences in the thousands. He's opened for blues legend and Woodstock alum Johnny Winter and performed to a conference crowd of 10,000.
