Andres Barros Bio

Andres Barros was born in Quito Ecuador in August 22, 1982. His first contact with music came through his father's Beatles' and Nat King Cole records. At 15 he began to learn guitar and attended music classes at the conservatory. Since then he has always been more avid of creating than interpreting other's music. He has played in many bands throught his life and composed songs ranging from alternative rock to pop, and has been working recently on a home made studio, to dive even further into his compositional ideas.
His actual projects are Picasso Smiling, where he writes the songs, and plays guitars and sings (www.myspace.com/picassosmiling). He also plays bass for the band Monroe Stahr (www.monroestahr.net) where he also contributes with the vocal harmonies and song arrangements.
