All of the music of Acoustic Rust is performed on both acoustic and electric guitars with dynamic and captivating vocals. The focus as a performing artist is to adjust the music set and playing style to the needs and desires of the audience. "I love when I am able to put someone back in touch with a pleasant memory from the past as a result of a song that I may play."

Gary began his love affair for music and the guitar while viewing The Beatles on TV in the 1960's as a child.

An accomplished music composer, he is credited with authoring six original music CD's and a number of soundtracks for a variety of commercial multimedia projects.

In 2000, his "surf guitar" based composition "Out Front" was the #1 rated surf music composition on the iuma.com website for the year and was featured in a soundtrack for a progressive surfing web video entitltled "Shred" by Jeff Toth on surfingsports.com.

From 2005 to 2006, Gary performed as rhythm guitarist with Belinda Womack and Mathew 11:15, the praise band for Palm Harbor United Methodist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida.

In 2006, his Carlos Santana inspired composition, "Guavaween" was featured on the Hawaii SurfSession Report website for a surfing video on October 20, 2006.

On December 19th, the Jazz Blues inspired tune, "Blue Moods" was the featured soundtrack of the Hawaii Surf Session Report for that date.

On February 7, 2007, the Rock inspired, "Killer Run" was the feature soundtrack for the Hawaii Surf Session Report podcast for that date.

In 2006, Acoustic Rust was featured at the Historic Roser Park Art Festival in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida.

In January 2006, Acoustic Rust was the feature performer for the Dunedin, Florida "In Through The Outdoors" Art Festival.

The newest Acoustic Rust CD creation is called "Tracks Over The Reef". The ultra exciting action oriented soundtrack music was insprired by years of surfing and windsurfing experiences expressed through the electric guitar.

In the spring of 2007, a new CD titled "Covered" is scheduled for release. The CD will feature hit pop tunes of the '60's as well as original compositions.
