Dan Burnevik-Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar

Dan grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During high school, Dan gravitated to the schools theater program. After participating in a number of well known musicals, such as, Grease , Guys and Dolls, West Side Story and Godspell, Dan went on to earn his BA in Acting at the University of Montana in Missoula.

Dan started out trying many different instruments in grade school. First it was the violin, then the clarinet, saxophone and snare drum. Dan started teaching himself the acoustic guitar while in his freshman year in high school. Influenced by such performer/songwriters as James Taylor, Crosby Stills Nash & Young and Joni Mitchell, Dan soon started writing and performing his own material.

Dan played with many other musicians in college and ultimately decided to pursue music rather than acting. After graduation, Dan moved to Austin Texas, where he recorded his first album entitled, Wonderful World, recorded in 1995. Two songs from this album were submitted to be judged in The Austin Songwriter's Group songwriter's competition. Out of over seven hundred entries the tracks Blood Will Flow and Struck Dumb made it to the semifinals and finals respectively. Dan was also featured live on the Dudley, and Bob Show (KLBJ's premier morning show), playing Jr. High, another track off the same album.
