SweetDuration combines the powerful vocals of lead singer Jennifer McBride with catchy, memorable pop/rock music on acoustic and electric guitars and keyboards. Their songs explore emotions people of all ages can relate to and are attracted to. SweetDuration has earned a substantial following in California through their live shows and Internet presence. At one point their song "Let's Go Wild" hit #5 out of 15,000 songs in their genre on Garageband.com, and their song "No More" was the site's Track of the Day on 4/23/04, after receiving positive reviews from countries all over the world. In June 2003, SweetDuration beat out other acts to win the Battle of the Bands sponsored by Mix 106.5 KEZR, one of the most popular commercial AAA radio stations in the Silicon Valley, and their song "Make Up Your Mind" received a strong number of votes in their New Music Showdown on the air. As a result SweetDuration has shared bills with such acts as Stabbing Westward, Jason Mraz, Dana Glover, Chantal Kreviazuk and Josh Kelley. Their first CD gained popularity on many college stations across the country. Last year, the band performed as UPN's musical guests for the season premiere of "Seriously Unusual Television Network", the network's new SNL-type sketch comedy show, which aired to approximately 100,000 viewers on Apr. 3, 2004. SweetDuration is the songwriting team of vocalist Jennifer McBride and guitarist Mike McCullough, backed up by Jeremy Pullman on electric lead guitar, Don Strong on keyboards, Kevin Sullivan on bass guitar and Scott Smith on drums.
