Bio

Born and raised in Californias' "Gold Country" along the banks of the Merced River, an area known for it's massive "Rockpiles" left by gold dredges.
Lonnie grew up on a ranch and was a real life working cowboy. (Thus the Rockpile Cowboy moniker). He began writing songs as early as 10 years old, although he admits they probably weren't to marketable. (Mom liked 'em though).
Today he lives and works around Twin falls Idaho and operates his own business (promoting other talented folks)
And writes Country and what he calls "Cross Country" (Christian Country) music, performing whenever he can. He is in the process of recording and releasing his yet untitled debut album due out in September, 2004
