I currently live in Sheffield England and have been playing around with guitars, words and music since the age of 16. I grew up listening to my older brother and sisters 45’s while they were out on dates and so I cut my teeth on the music of ‘The Beatles, The Monkees, Stones, Kinks', etc. In my teens I formed a Beatle type band (of course) called ‘The Tremmers’ and that was when I started writing songs. I almost got a deal with the singer / songwriter Chris Difford from Brit band ‘Squeeze’ in the 80’s but it fell through. I write all genres of songs from pop to country. In 2000 I was voted ‘The CTC Network Singer / Songwriter of the year’ in Nashville, and a compilation CD with some of my tracks on called ‘Crossing the Cumberland’ came out of that. In 2001 I secured my first publishing contract. The tracks on this site are a mixture of studio recordings and little old Portastudio cassette recordings, so the quality and production varies somewhat. Anyways, hope you like ‘em.
