Introducing to the world the hot new male duo "R&B" featuring Romell Calhoun and Brian Smith. At the age of 6 Romell was putting his melodies on paper and by the age of 8 he was singing and writing coming to realize music was his strength in passion in life. Romell's musical talents lead him to New York City's off Broadway production of "A Pure Gospel Christmas" which landed him a tour with "Urban Mistic" of Sobe Entertainment. Romell has worked and written for a host of Industry artist including: Lyfe Jennings, The White Head Brothers, Maria Davis, Chuck D of "Public Enemy", Carl Thomas, Smooth B of "Nice and Smooth" , Willie Staggers of the movie "Straped", Tony Todd of the movie 'Candy Man" and David Toban. Just to name a few. Brian recognized his love for music at a very young age of 5, and has done everything he knows how to do in order to make his dream become a reality. His hard work, dedication, discipline, structure, and musical ability began to grow and develop as this affiliation led to a promotional tour in Germany which included Keith Sweat, Public Announcement, J-Bred, Tank, and Blu Cantrel. He was blessed to receive 11 years of musical training from Charles Whodack . He also studied the piano, guitar, and voice at Settlement Music School and Mercer County Community College. He landed an opportunity to be mentored by Wyclef''s main Engineer, Serge Tsai and Bill "the Hitman" Kovack of level 4 Recording Studios in Philadelphia Pa. Brian has also obtained a certificate in Engineering through Professor Dan Skye of Skylab Recording Studio in Heightstown, NJ. Brian along with Robby Pardlo and Ryan Toby of City High produced and wrote a song for the Tyler Perry Broadway production, "Ephram's Song" entitled "Whatever Happens" . Romell and Brian aka "R&B" are coming soon with the Mix-Cd entitled "Classic" Vol.1 featuring the singles "I'm a Man", "Dance Wit Me", & "Still in Love" . Get ready for the soulful and eclectic sounds of "R&B".....
