Jay Da 3rd. Rapper. Singer. Producer. To label his music with a specific genre would be insufficient as he simply transcends genres to create a sound that is his own. This Rap/Pop/RnB artist is currently receiving spins in the club with his single "Ocean Booty", and on the radio with "Bigshot". Residing in Kansas City MO, an area that has a rich history in music, Jay began producing and recording in his mid-teen years. Shortly after finishing high school, Jay found himself performing at local venues as part of the hip-hop duo DiVerse while developing a style that reflected his image as "The Pretty Boi". While performing at a local fashion, Jay Da 3rd caught the eye of veteran rapper Xta-C, branded throughout the Mid-west as "Mr. So Heavy". Shortly afterwards, Jay along with the other half of DiVerse(Dezil) were inducted as members of Xta-C's squad, the Money Boys. Jay began developing his craft even more while rising as one hottest up and coming producers in the Midwest and recording hooks for many other artists in the region. In late 2008, Jay became co-founder and establisher of DiVerse Muzik LLC, an entertainment company based out of Kansas City. Since mid-2009, Jay has garnered increasing exposure while opening for national artists such as Twista, Dorrough and, Travis Porter. He's produced for a multitude of local and national artists over the last 4 years and is currently preparing to release his 1st solo project, "A Pretty Boi Beats Presentation". His blending of different genres of music and ability to ride the beat like few can makes him stand out in a very overpopulated music crowd.
