Chris LaShelle - Bio
Chris LaShelle was composing music by ear on piano at age three. Chris studied classical piano starting at 5 for many years, then later self taught himself many other instruments and how to produce and engineer. Chris plays piano, bass, guitar, cello, viola, violin, and fakes everything else. Chris has composed 1000's of original songs. Chris has played with & produced many different artists covering many different types of music over a 30 year career. Chris has composed music for movies and TV with hundreds of credits since 2002. His music has seen frequent plays on such programs as: Real World, Road Rules, Starting Over, BET Awards, The Gauntlet, The Hills, Newport Harbor, Pageant Place, Wild 'N Out , as well as a few student movies, movie pilots and TV commercials, live comic shows, websites, Features, and music videos.
In 2003 Chris met Holly French. Since then Chris and Holly have collaborated on over 30 songs and 7 videos. Chris composes, performs, produces, arranges, and engineers all the music, writes and directs all the videos. Holly blends her magical melodies, deep lyrical insights, effervescent charm, and powerful voice to create the phenomenon that is, Hollyboots!
