Formed in 1996 and brought together uncharacteristically at an audition in London to write songs for a popular boy band(Hey, bills had to be paid). Out of the 200 songwriters roaming the halls of that revered recording studio, four were mistakenly sent to the wrong room. It was a studio, as it was shortly learned, that had been used by the Beatles, Elton John, James Taylor, Oasis and Queen, to name just a few. If you listen carefully to some of the Modes songs, you can hear the spirit of rock giants past; and feel the energy from a time unrivaled in the history of rock and roll. More than one member of this band has reluctantly stated that they can't take all the credit for their recorded tracks.........
