Johnny Shaw is currently studying and performing in the Baltimore, Washington area. He has produced and recorded two cd's. His 2009 release is titled "Baltimore Blue". His 2010 release is titled "Stone Cold Jazz". He generally performs with a jazz combo named Hanlon Park but performs with several other combos as well. His group Hanlon Park was named as the best jazz group to kick off Artscape by Baltimore City Promotions in a gratitude letter from Rosa Greene , Balto City propmotions director. Johnny is completiong a music jazz performance undergraduate degree at Towson Univ. His sax teacher is Jeff Antoniuk.

Johnny has studied saxophone with four instructors, including Chris Ford of thr Paris Conservatory. Shaw studied At Towson State University aqnd the Commm Coll, of Baltimore. Jazz arranging and Commercial Writing with Hank Levy. Also an accomplished pianist of thiety years. He currently studying pino at Nathan Carter School of Music , sharpening technique and reading skills.
