Bio

Echovalve is the epitome of emotion, creativity, and raw energy. A group of guys? hell bent on not following a pattern or formula, they pour their lives out in their blend of in your face rock music. The diversity of sound they encompass is a direct reflection of each individual's very different musical background and their respective influences. Prepare yourself for the sonic assault that is Echovalve.

The beginning of Echovalve started with a phone call from lead vocalist Charlie, to guitarist Jay Langston. At the time of conception, both were in established local/ regional bands, and the original plan was for a side project. After two writing sessions together, it was time find the members that would round out the lineup.

Charlie was in a band with former members of the band that Jay was with, and it only made sense to invite them in. Guitarist Dave Klanac, and drummer Billy Nielsen accepted the invitation and the full on writing process began. Within two weeks, the band, as it stood, had enough material to begin playing live. The chemistry was incredible, and the songs reflected the band's passion for heavy, diverse music.

After witnessing the unbelievable chemistry, and the songs that resulted, Charlie, Jay, Dave, and Billy quit their current bands to make Echovalve their top priority. "We felt like the music we were making deserved our full commitment and attention. You can't just half-way do something that was meant to be."
