Derrone "Young Money Makin D" Bates A.K.A Da great One is an artist/producer with talent and a lot of potential when it comes to music. Born and Raised in Durham, North Carolina ,Derrone has always had thing for music but it wasn't until he was seven years of age he started rapping and entering talent showcases.At the age of eleven he was starting to write and realised that he wanted to do more then just the artist he wanted to do more, so he borrow a program from his mentor called Sony Acid Pro 3 and his father gave him a casio keyboard also a Zoom-123 Drum machine which he started creating beats with. By the Derrone was 13 he made and 12 track album and sold it to his classmates around his school and got good feedback. In High School Derrone seen that the industry wasn't as easy as it looked on tv to get in so he started his own label P.squad Entertainment(Pimp squad) and started recuiting and also recording recording artist. While recording other artist he begin to like audio engineering. Now Derrone is taking his career to the next level. He is a full time student at the School of Communication Arts and his major is Audio Engineer.
