Chariot Baldwin is all about snazzy riffs, tight drums, driving bass-lines and catchy vocals. Her debut single "Black Bunny" comes with a unique blend of rock and roll: Imagine the quirky hooks and melodies of Huey Lewis and The News mixed in with the grit and energy of Nirvana, and you get close enough.

In 2013, she joined the FAWM.org challenge to write 14 songs in 28 days for the February Album Writing Month. This was her first attempt at writing songs seriously. Later she would do the 50/90 (50 songs in 90 days) and return each year, addicted. She also competed in the UK Songwriting Contest, obtaining two Commended Entry results for both music and lyrics.

Chariots' profound hearing loss doesn't stop her from working on her songwriting: "I know I can't sing, am average on the guitar, but I have all these lyrics and melodies in my head, driving me nuts; compelling me to have them produced. I have to start somewhere, so I made Soundcloud and Broadjam my main platforms."
