Cara Hays

Cara Hays is a fetching and charismatic young singer/songwriter from Little Rock, Arkansas.
At just 23 years of age, Cara can boast of more professional musical and entertainment experience
than many performers twice her age. Since she was just 17, and a senior in her all girls' catholic high
school (that's right folks, she didn't just don the uniform, she lived it!!), Cara has been fronting one
of the mid-south's premier cover bands, Superflux. In her five year tenure with Superflux, Cara has
captivated audiences and packed dance floors from Tulsa to Nashville, and just about everywhere in
between. Cara has been featured on numerous local televsion and radio programs in Little Rock, and
been reviewed favorably many times in the media. The Arkansas Times says that Cara "can front a band
with all of the sultriness of No Doubt's Gwen Stefani", does a "dead-on version of Trick Pony's 'Pour Me'",
and "can also reach deep for some soulful blues."
In addition to her performance experience with Superflux, Cara has made her mark in the pageant world.
In 2001, in her very first foray into the pageant scene, Cara captured the prestigious crown of Miss Teen America, handily winning the talent portion of the final night's competition with a stunning performance of Patsy Cline's "I've Got a Right to Cry". Her title has afforded her the opportunity to be the featured performer at several high profile events such as singing the national anthem at major league sporting events.
While building up her resume as an entertainer, Cara earned a bachelor's degree in History from Hendrix
College, Arkansas' most competitive and prestigious university.
Now that she has earned her wings performing, Cara is ready to let the world her true voice. She is
currently writing and recording a body of original material. Unabashadly pop-rock, Cara's music is
disarmingly honest and as easy on the ears as she is on the eyes.
