An Endless Sporadic

January 4, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA -- Progressive Rock duo, An Endless Sporadic, who gained worldwide success with their 2008 EP release Ameliorate, which had featured tracks on Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, and Guitar Hero® World Tour, are proud to announce the release their first full-length CD of original material, entitled An Endless Sporadic. Three songs from An Endless Sporadic's new CD, consisting of From the Blue, Point of No Return and The Triangular Race Through Space, have been released as additional downloadable content for Guitar Hero® 5 as part of the "Neversoft Thanks The Fans Track Pack".

Dream Theater keyboardist, Jordan Rudess, calls An Endless Sporadic, "A wild progressive sonic ride. It's thrilling to hear progressive rock that is this fresh and inspiring. These guys are obviously very skilled and their music is brimming over with youthful creativity and vitality."

Drummer Andy Gentile, 23-years old, and guitarist/keyboardist Zach Kamins, 22-years old, founded An Endless Sporadic in 2004 in Houston, Texas while the two were still in High School. Leaving no doubt to the fact that musical talent is hereditary, Kamins, a prodigal musician who started playing piano by ear at 4-years old, is the cousin of Academy Award-winner, Howard Shore, who composed the soundtracks to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Silence of the Lambs, The Departed, Aviator and others. Kamins is presently enrolled in the Berkelee College of Music in Boston pursuing a dual major in Film Scoring and Music Synthesis, and Gentile is a game developer for Neversoft, a division of Activision.

The two men composed the tracks for the new An Endless Sporadic CD in California, between February and April 2009, during a hiatus from Kamins' Berklee enrollment. In May, An Endless Sporadic was recorded, and mixed in Lund, Sweden in only three weeks, with internationally-renowned progressive rock guitarist, vocalist and producer, Roine Stolt, producing. Mastering took place at M-Works Mastering Studio in Boston. Stolt is best known as the founder of The Flower Kings, and lead guitarist and vocalist of the Prog Rock supergroup Transatlantic, featuring Dream Theater drummer, Mike Portnoy. All nine An Endless Sporadic tracks feature the brilliant bass playing of The Flower Kings' Jonas Reingold.

An Endless Sporadic's debut EP, Ameliorate, evolved after Gentile introduced producers of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, to the track, "Sun of Pearl", and, it was quickly added to the game. The track immediately found audiences with gaming aficionados and Prog Rock fans alike, especially after it blew-up on the duo's MySpace page. Driven by the success of "Sun of Pearl," and an offer to provide additional tracks for future Neversoft game titles, Kamins and Gentile composed and recorded three more tracks over the internet, and contributed "Impulse" to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and "Anything" to Guitar Hero World Tour. Released to iTunes in June 2008, the four-track Ameliorate EP has sold close to 40,000 track downloads, and the duo has built a devoted fanbase from only word-of-mouth, with no marketing or promotion.

With the release of An Endless Sporadic's sophomore CD, and taking into account the accolades they have been receiving from high-profile and respected music and gaming industry contemporaries, the duo plans on announcing live performances, participation in gaming industry events, and more composing and scoring projects in early 2010.

The new An Endless Sporadic is available from iTunes for only $8.91 as a full album download or $.99 per track. For band info and pictures, and to order the hardcopy CD at $9.99, please visit http://www.anendlesssporadic.com
