Bio

Adam Foster Dachman has been composing for 40 years. He is a seasoned pianist and performer as well. With 4 solo albums, numerous television show soundtrack placements and multiple documentary scores he has been very successful. He released Echoes In The Canyon in 1998--his first solo CD. In 2002 he released Center Of My Heart. In 2005 he released Keys Of Hope. In 2014, After The Harvest was released. These albums feature his solo piano work along with some nice ensemble pieces and vocal songs.

His most current work is orchestral and targets film, video games and television. He has worked with some of today's most successful composers, arrangers and orchestrators. Adam is a member of the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers as well as a long standing member of ASCAP.

An artist supported by PPMP records, Adam continues to produce a vast array of musical styles and textures.

GSW-Worldwide located Adam in 2004 and commissioned him to compose a theme for their client Genentech--a world leader in bio-oncology pharmaceuticals. MUSIC FOR LIFE was released to the world as a gift to Genentech's Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients receiving their product RITUXAN. To date (Jan. 2006) 33,000 CDs have been distributed.

Some recent television show placements include House of Lies, The Little Couple and CSI.
His music has been utilized by NBC's Today Show, ABC's Good Morning America, Hollywood Tonight, Access Hollywood, CITGO, The Greenbay Packers, The 700 Club, and numerous radio shows, documentaries, and commercials. During the holiday season in 2006 Louis Vuitton utilized Adam's solo "Snowflakes" for their online catalogue.

The studio which Adam has created houses some of today's most advanced keyboard based technologies. Adam has studied music most of his life and recently has studied with the Berklee School of Music and completed course work in orchestration and music for film and television through ThinkSpace UK. A LOGIC user, he is capable of creating a limitless array of soundscapes.

Using today's most advanced technologies to produce audio for any application is second nature to him. Virtual instrument libraries are packed into the vast collection of hard drives Adam keeps in the studio.

Adam is the creator and primary talent in a project titled THE HUMAN FACTOR. This project is aimed at transforming the doctor patient relationship through performance based lectures at medical conferences everywhere. Adam is a national speaker and performer.

He has had the honor of performing on Capital Hill at the American Cancer Society's first Celebration on the Hill in 2002. He is currently serving as chairman of the board of Steps For Living, a non-profit cancer survivor support organization based in New York City. See www.stepsforliving.org.

After seeing the Oscars last evening, I am recharged and ready to continue down the path of composing for film, documentaries, television and video games. The times have never been better for my craft. Very excited.
