b.e_cooling is Brian Cooling (vocals, guitars) and Woody Woodward (percussion, dulcimers, guitars).
Through their infectious blend of blues and folk-rock they combine urban themes and rustic moods to create songs which are "clever, politically charged, and fun". (Shepton Mallet Journal, Oct '09)
Since first performing together at Glastonbury Festival 2008, Brian and Woody have been working from their studio in the south-west of England to produce music which shows their expertise from small acoustic settings on guitar and Appalachian dulcimer to contemporary full-band arrangements. They have worked hard to create a singular harmonically up-tempo sound which draws from a diverse range of influences and instrumentation.
b.e_cooling have been well-received in the Southwest's regional media and by audiences of all ages who have likened them to such artists as Johnny Cash and Gomez though most would agree that they do something refreshing that is not easily pigeon-holed.
