Barakus is now moving ahead as a complete unit for the first time in its existence, and is aggressively promoting its EP at its shows and online. Additionally, Barakus’ song “Rise Up With Me” will be included in the documentary Popaganda: The Art and Crimes of Ron English, which is set for release in September 2005 in New York City. Written and directed by Pedro Carvajal, the soundtrack will also feature songs from the Dandy Warhols, Daniel Johnston and Tripping Daisy.
