Song Description

lively rythem, intense lyrics

Story Behind the Song

Base off an old story I grew up with. A prophecy of sorts. Although this was inspired and written in 1994, is more appropriate now than ever before. Twenty-four years later, 2018 is its first online release. Enjoy!!

Lyrics

They came from the mountains with a sword in their hand
They came to bring justice back to the land
They came with a vengance that wasn't their own
They came to set up Gods law and write it in stone

Pure in heart and with true intent
They came to destroy those who wouldn't repent
And dont' they'll care prince or pauper you be
And don't they'll scare if its a thousand to three

chorus:
The boys from the mountain are fearless and strong
With God as their leader and prayer as their song
There will be survivors
These men do not fail

If they're sent to get you
To run, is to run, is to run, is no use
Because you'll get whats coming
You'll have no excuse

Someday soon these boys will come
I hope and pray that I can be one
Noble blood run through their veins
And soon all the world will know their names

Although some of these boy will die,
Tears of joy their mothers will cry
Because of their sons martyrdom,
He has a crown of glory in the kingdom to come

The constitution hang by a thread,
The founding fathers ideas are dead.
The Sons of Zion are here my friends...
Come join with us!

And like water gushing from a broken dam,
This army of God baptize the land
The blood of the people like water will flow
The hate in their hearts like a thistle will grown

Though we wish this bitter cup could pass
It cant and it wont but it will not last
Our principles we must defend

Remember this...
Only God can avenge

Only God can avenge
