Pleasant guitar intro leads into warm, friendly vocal in this very singable folk song with a spiritual bent. It's a tune that would have the audience singing along in no time. I love the positive and hopeful message that the lyrics coupled with the vocal conveys. Background vocals are gently added in for a fuller sound. 2 guitars play together nicely in this simply produced, memorable tune. Reminds me a bit of Burl Ives with a little less rasp. This song could/should be widely known and sung in campfire circles and festivals. If this artist was singing at a local festival, I would definitely listen to his set!
Great potential with this tune. Farther on is a great hook. Tells a story that is in the heart of every person, I think. A journey somewhere. Love it!
