Description

Short Description of Song

Find a Plan for Peace and put it in motion.

Long Description of Song

There are charlatans and shamans, priests and poets all out there talking about everything but leaving the world better than we found it. Leaving a legacy of peace for our children is our greatest gift.

Story Behind the Song

A young friend died of cancer, and I watched his father deal with this event with such dignity that it was my greatest wish he could find a Plan for Peace for his broken heart and wounded soul. As the concept for this grief therapy on my behalf evolved,

Lyrics

His glory
His pain
Of watching his children
Under the strain

His image
Not His plan
Acting out the Lord of the Flies
Nothing more than a Piltdown Man

The things we keep on doing to each other
Brother killing brother
All for some foolish notion
We'd better find the plan for peace and put it in motion

Our story
Our pain
Of watching our children
Dying in vain

Our image
Our plan
Acting like we've got nine lives
Instead of the one have

The things we keep on doing to each other
Brother killing brother
All for some foolish notion
We'd better find the plan for peace and put it in motion

If only we forget ourselves and love each other
That would be the step to bring the whole world together

And the things we keep on doing to each other . . .
