I was intrigued by the idea of an overture, never having heard it on any other recording of this kind. It was a fun challenge to link these pieces musically.

Like a theatrical overture, this song is a medley of all the piano solos contained in my "Water Song"CD. It gives the listener the opportunity to briefly preview the melodies that will follow.
