Song Description

Same as above.

Story Behind the Song

I happened to be really depressed following a surgery when I read the opportunity. I thought now might be a good time for me to write a sad song because of how I was feeling. This is the result.

Broadjam Member Reviews

"I Lost My Dream" is sorrow in a song. Mort delivers voice and guitar performances that aren't soon forgotten.

Lyrics

Feeling so alone.
Give a dog a bone.
I lost my dream and
I lost my way.

What I had in my grasp
has seemed to slip on past.
I never felt so alone
as I do today.

Can't seem to carry on.
My dream is gone.
It was fragile and
it's gone today.

As I move along.
To my heart belong
those who know me
and I'll hear what they say.
