Story Behind The Song
I wrote 20's AND SINGLE while I was watching one of my friends (newly 21 at the time) going out clubbing and dancing at night clubs a few times a week in order to meet women. I wanted to write something that was danceable and could be played in a club setting where the singer (probably a female vocalist) could take control of the entire room and get everyone singing "I'm Young, I'm Beautiful, in my 20's and Single". It's a song of celebration and independence. It liberates young women to be confident in their youth and beauty, while reminding all listeners that we can ALL "Live Young, Be Beautiful..." and celebrate the life we have by adopting that same fresh, confident lifestyle of being in your "Twenties and Single"!
