Story Behind The Song

I wrote this after my brother and I got into a fight one night. It started out as a song written about that situation, but evolved from that into a fictional situation.

Song Description

The idea of this song is the singer is expressing his regret for writing another down-trodden song. Most of the song is sarcastic, and he claims in the song that it's not a tribute at all to his ex-lover...who is vain and would accept this song as written for her... while it obviously is. They got into a drunken fight and she left him.
