Lyrics

Bring on the Butterflies
Mary Haller

My knees are shaking, can't lie, can't fake it
How can I stand up tall when I can barely stand at all
My palms are sweaty, not sure I'm ready
To take that one first step on the road that lies ahead
Can't go back to where it's safe and warm
Cuz that's what I've done before

So bring on the butterflies
I'm finally seeing those blue skies
It's a brand new day and it's all mine
Bring on the butterflies
I'm finally standin' in the sunshine
Gonna spread my wings and fly so high
Bring on the butterflies

I've walked through danger, ain't been a stranger
To storms and raging seas
Waves that knocked me off my feet
But now I'm rising, I'm realizing
That I won't fall apart when I'm following my heart
Right here, right now I'm setting myself free
I've got everything I need

So bring on the butterflies
I'm finally seeing those blue skies
It's a brand new day and it's all mine
Bring on the butterflies
I'm finally standin' in the sunshine
Gonna spread my wings and fly so high

Throw my worries to the wind
I don't need 'em anymore
Take a deep breath, take that first step, and watch me soar

Bring on the butterflies
I'm finally seeing those blue skies
It's a brand new day and it's all mine
Bring on the butterflies
I'm finally standin' in the sunshine
Gonna spread my wings and fly so high
Bring on the butterflies
Bring on the butterflies
Bring on the butterflies
