Story Behind The Song

We wanted to write a happy country song, opposite of the traditional country heartbreak, lying, cheating, leaving, songs. The cajun influence came to us from my dads' cajun friend, Jimmy C. Newman. Le bon ton roulet, is a cajun expression about life, that in English, means ," Let The Good Times Roll."

The story of how a New Mexico cowboy was taught the cajun philosophy of life, "Le Bon Ton Roulet" ( let the good times roll) , and therfore, gives good advice and lives a happy life.
