Parts of the melody are pretty, and the guitar playing is excellent. The singer has a beautiful voice and a versatile range.

Really neatly crafted song in my opinion. The lyric tells the story well. The directness of the first couple of lines really grabbed my attention. Definitely pop, but with a hint of country. I like the chorus hook and how you develop it lyrically (He ain't kissing me / missing me / lovin' me). And I liked the way the second verse as well as the first led really well into the chorus. Nice accoustic guitar sound and really great vocal.
