#1.SOBER MAN

Story Behind The Song

My testimony song / I am going on over 24 years of being alcohol free and 24 years dope free at the age of 60 / I have lived to tell it / THANK GOD. Janice Joplin helped me write this song a long time ago and we all miss her. She knew more about GOD than most people knew that she knew about GOD. My sobriety date is 03/11/1990.--i might dedicate this also to--MR.JOE WALSH--ONE DAY AT A TIME and my mother ALTA MAE.

good country folk song, traditional in its style. nice vocal delivery and lyrics .

This is a comfortable song for sitting on the porch with a tall glass of Carolina Iced Tea

I can totally picture sitting around the campfire listening to this song. It was totally great! You have a very nice voice and I can for sure see you going places with your music.

Acoustic guitar sound is really cool. Voice is unique.

Love your voice! It has that country singer tone which is appropriate for the country genre.

Is this a song from personal experience, were you an alcoholic? If so, very touching. Can't fault the intention, and the delivery is brief, concise and effective.

Nice vocal performance and voice. A common story told very nicely. I like the pace of this song, it moves along but is laidback, that is very hard to capture and you seem to have done it effortlessly. Being a natural storyteller is a gift, make sure you keep giving back with more songs brother.

Sounds professional, good voice and nice guitar.

I love the simple, sincere, plain-speak of this song. Strong chorus. Hook surprised me the first time around...in a good way!

I enjoyed this song. The lyrics painted a great mental picture of your Little Country Town. Good work!

Nice tone and voice control and guitar playing.

Nice, simple story telling style, works very well with good separation between guitar and vocal. I don't think this song needs anything else, thanks.

Nice tune, great lyrics, vibe and vocals.
