Waiting for Me

Story Behind The Song

We wrote the song Waiting for Me because all of us struggle with conflict at some point in our lives. We all have been faced with saying the things that we really want or need to say to the people we journey alongside of us in our lives, but found it harder than we expected. The bridge of the song really captures the essence of it's message. "This is too important to let it pass us by. If I can't tell you how I feel is it any less than a lie?" In this world of communication through mass-text messages and a growing need to feel connected - this song is a realization of the importance of being real with each other.

Waiting For Me

verse:
did you know could you know that I'm angry with you
No you don't know 'cause I haven't told you
did you know could you know that you really hurt me
No you don't know 'cause I haven't told you

pre-chorus:
and there's so much I want to say
and so little time to say it
there's so much on my mind
and I'm only wasting time

chorus:
I'm sorry for the things that I don't say
I watch the days
Pass by me and I wish that they would stay
Long enough for
Me to tell you how much you mean to me
I'm waiting for me, to stop being me

verse:
Did you know could you know that I know that I was wrong too
No you don't know 'cause I haven't told you
Did you know could you know that I'm really very sorry
No you don't know 'cause I haven't told you

pre-chorus:
and there's so much I want to say
and so little time to say it
there's so much on my mind
and I'm only wasting time

chorus:
I'm sorry for the things that I don't say
I watch the days
Pass by me and I wish that they would stay
Long enough for
Me to tell you how much you mean to me
I'm waiting for me, to stop being me

bridge:
Oh this is
To important to let it pass us by
If I can't tell you how I feel
Is it anything less than a lie

I can't let this pass us by

chorus:
I'm sorry for the things that I don't say
I watch the days
Pass by me and I wish that they would stay

I'm sorry for the things that I don't say
I watch the days
Pass by me and I wish that they would stay
Long enough for
Me to tell you how much you mean to me
I'm waiting for me
I'm waiting for me
I'm waiting for me, to stop being me
