Lyrics

All I ever wanted was to be with you and spend some time
You always act like it's a crime, but I don't think so
Sitting here all by myself, wondering if you'll ever call
You say you don't need me at all, Well baby I don't think so

You said some words I couldn't believe
You turned around and started to leave
Is this feeling worth the fight?
Your out the door and gone all night
When you return it's not the same
I wish that you could feel this pain
Your silly game is out of control, baby I don't think so

Every since you changed your mind
And took your love away
Baby now that you're gone
It's like the pain has lifted
I'm no longer addicted
To that love
That used to set me free
It's all self-inflicted
Maybe I should just stick it out and see
But I know that love has no guarantee

I never could quite figure it out
You always get the benefit of the doubt
Still you find some way to make me insecure
You're staring at me thru those lying eyes
I guess that's why it comes as no surprise
Now you say your letting go
Baby I don't think so
