Story Behind The Song
This was a song I wrote when my daughter was a baby, and would sing it to her as a lullaby to get her to fall asleep. It worked! When given a choice of lullabies to sing to her, she would always choose this one.
Song Description
With the rhythm provided by a baby's rattle, and a simple peaceful accompaniment/ arrangement, and vocals sung in a hushed manner, this short but sweet lullaby is intended to soothe and calm a little one to sleep.

Lyrics
The sun has gone down
All the stars are out tonight
They twinkle as they kiss you goodnight
The sun has gone to bed
and so must you my sleepyhead
So close your eyes,go to sleep, sweet dreams.
Now, in your dreams
May your wishes all come true
and your days be filled with laughter
When you awake,
it will be a new tomorrow
and you'll live happily ever after......
