My Grandpa, well he started out when he was just a young man.
Smokin' his butts, makin' his shine, he'd run all across the land.
He just had another birthday, I think he finally reached 95.
He's still smokin' them butts, I wonder what keeps him alive.

I know alot of you think, your doing this for our own good.
But you wrote a law that took away my rights, there gos the neighborhood.
I don't mind to meet you in the middle, if it'll save the day.
But when Uncle Sam tries to take it away, here's what we think we should say.

Common sense should be our guide not a law that insults our pride.
'Cause I'm only one smokin' ash just trying to save my butt.

Second Hand Smoke is bad but Second Hand Freedom is worst.
And I'll keep it out of your face when you respect my freedom first.

Keepin' my smoke out of your face, well this is just common sense.
But not lettin' me smoke when I'm at my park, stinks like a communist.
There are people out there who are steadily stealling my peace.
But they don't have a good reason to make me bow down to the beast.
