Story Behind The Song
During a verygray winter's day I was feeling quuite alienated. What was usually familiar seemed very distant and predatory. I recalled CJ Jungs writing on Alienation and Existentialism; of how French revolutionaries, in trying to win back their country from the crown, performed what they called "Brave Gestures", throwing bombs into the Kings most cherished places. Then upon completing the revolution they re-integrated themselves according to their country.
I set uppon devising a brave gesture for myself.
I had recently moved with my wife to my hometown., leaving behind many friends and memories. I was struggling with symptoms of my chronis disabling illness and nightmares haunted me each night.
This song was the stone I threw to bring home my body, my spirit, my soul.
Song Description
This cut leans heavily on my graduate school studies and burrows heavily from a Peter Gabriel meets Linkin' Park sort of arrangement. I truly enjoyed doing those Gang of Four type guitar riffs and power chords. The rythym track was a great Korg sample with few adjustments.

Lyrics
Throw Your Stone
we dream this dream of life alone
this shattered vase
we dream this dream of life alone
these fractured bones
and send the windhorse on its way
this dorje sword
we dream this dream of life alone
this living word
we dream this life we live alone
my father's eyes
we live this life we live alone
my mother's smile
all the while I dance inside this skin
these bonds and bones
we dream this life we live alone
so throw your stones
look away
look away
throw your stone
we dream this life we dream alone
are you awake
we dream this life we dream alone
and many sleep
sad pension pray the dying lord
my soul to keep
we dream this life we dream alone
my faith to leap
