Story Behind The Song
This song was written during the winter of the break up of a long standing relationship. It marked a turning point in the composers stylistic life. The idea behind the song was to recreate the feeling of being wrapped in the warmth and meditative stillness of a snow drift. The silent and enfolding stillness calming and distilling each though as though it were a crystalising snow flake...Pure and filled with clarity.
Song Description
This song has a wonderfully open and meelodic/lyrical melody utilising strong, full, legatto notes contrasted by fragile stacatto, scalic melodies . The voice is supported by a minimalistic riff on the guitar. Reminiscent of a japanese biwa with a glorious back slide from the A to the G to return to the start. This is interwoven by a an inovative take on percussion in the classical/contemporary style..not to be missed.

Lyrics
Last summer when I could do no wrong.
You were just a dangerous toy, a boy that I, liked to play with.
Last summer you were a boy and I was just another girl on your, mind.
Such a cold winter, but I felt so warm and heavenly.
Like another girl. Singing songs to me, another boy.
Is there another game or just another girl on your, mind?
Another game or just another girl on your mind?
chorus...
