About the capabilities of Jesus dealing with any situation you might have - in contrast to being able to calm a raging sea

The raging sea is used to compare the trials and tribulations in our life.

Well I heard the preacher talking
about a man who walked on water
He calmed the raging sea before their eyes (yes he did)
I heard the angels crying as they nailed him to the cross
but in three days he rose to give us life

I've seen my prayers answered, oh time and time again

I've seen my loved ones suffer cause the're lost without a savior
you know the devil will bring them to thier knees,
