Been You? unveil a person that is approaching the end of his life (dying). As he begins his treated for cancer, through weekly chemotherapy and radiation treatments. His entire life from the past to the present is revealed to him. All of his trials, pains & failures that he have been through, appears so clear to him now. Just whose been stepping in, when his pain would end. Who picked him up, when he failed down and who comfort his heart, when his tears began to start. God has removed the scales from his eyes, now he sees clearly. He?s able to see & understand that it wasn?t a coincidence that he made it through his past difficult trials. It was the ?Lord? from the very beginning. He is his ?Then, Now, When & How?. The ?Lord? is his power source behind it all. He was there from the start. He knew his heart. Getting very close to the completion of Joe?s CD ?BreakThrough? he was diagnosis with cancer and given only six months to live. With weekly chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Joe was left with very little strength and had lost over 80 pounds. Producer: Sidney Reynaud collaborated with songwriter Bennie Smith writing the song ?It?s Been You? Immediately the lyrics and track was brought to Joe. After Joe read them, he begin sing them. It was as though he wrote it himself. No doubt, it was the Lord moving once again. Tears of both producer and Joe began to fall. Joe demanded to go to the studio to record it. But by knowing Joe?s condition, Sidney responded, ?we have time, let?s focus you getting well?. And Joe responded, ?We can?t wait, we must do it now, and if we don?t, it will not have the same meeting. With not enough strength to stand, Sidney helped Joe into the car and off to the studio they went. A chair was placed in the sound boot and the mic stand was moved down lower.
