News

I am in my studio working on a new CD. I am also attending music theory classes. I have plans to visit the southern California desert in the beginning of April to relax and take in the peacefulness. I always gain inspiration for my music with time spent in a completely different environment.
I have written my first classical piece, but it needs more work before I can release it. It is in deference to BACH. Stay tuned for something new!

Lyrics

?DANCE?
(Dwain C. Hathaway)
© 2005 D.C. Hathaway Music

You look like such a sweet thing
and there's something that I'd like to do.
Girl, you're lookin' good, just like you should
and I only wanna do it with you.
I wanna get down and dirty and I wanna work up a sweat
It could take all night, somethin' you can't fight
that you're never, ever gonna forget.

CHORUS:

Come on and dance. Come on and dance.
Girl there's just no better way to start romance.
Come on and dance all night long. Dance. Dance.

So tell me what you're thinkin'. Do you really wanna do it now?
I don't care. I do it anywhere, anytime, any way anyhow.
I really like to do it fast and I really like to do it slow.
Show me what you got. Girl, you got a lot.
Baby let's get on with the show.

(CHORUS) (SOLO)

BRIDGE:

So baby let your hair down and bring it on real good.
I know that you can shake that thing.
Let's get the party started like we should.

CHORUS TWICE

Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance
