Story Behind The Song
I wrote the song while walking around Paris one day. I had a little booklet that I'd bought at a local bookstore in Columbus Ohio. It had a pen and a flip out compass. I thought, "Okay cool, now I won't get lost in the City of Lights. And thats precisely what did happen. I was lost all day with that little book."

Lyrics
I took your compass and your pen
But I'm still lost can't write about it
I pity ordinary men
And pay attention to their habits
I'm feeling so contrary
Extra ordinary
Am I your lover or your fool?
So I landed at your feet
Yes the damage was extensive
Started sowing what you reaped
And took the moonlight as incentive
The polite town crier
You had your own admirer
Am I your lover or your fool?
What are the gifts you possess?
What are the urges your suppress?
Are you a lover or a fool?
Self satisfier
Girl multiplier
Are you a lover or a fool?
I took your compass and your pen
I pity ordinary men
And pay attention to their habits
Aaah, ooh, ah no no no
Aah oh ah ooh
