Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song about 8 years ago. This year I went ahead and re-wrote the chorus, wrote a solo and slide rythm part and recorded it. I used a $20 mic going through a tube pre-amp. It was recorded on a fostex multitrack recorder. Drums are from a Aleisis drum machine. I did it all in my living room one morning this past summer. - Joe 12/11/07
Song Description
This is one of my more simpler songs. That is why it was the first to be recorded. Not to mention I wrote it about 8 years ago. Anyway, the original was acoustic and for one guitar/singer, so I wrote in a solo and slide rythm part.

Lyrics
I just robbed a store and stole your Daddy's car
You say you love me so
now here we are
show your love
show your love
to me
hey baby
show me some love
I want your love
need your love
show me your love
Can't you hear that siren wail
they ain't bout to lock me up
in no South Texas jail
show your love
show your love
to me
hey baby
show me some love
I want your love
need your love
show me your love
Come on baby
let's burn up that highway
then down that dusty road
to Mexico
show your love
show your love
to me
hey baby
show me some love
I want your love
need your love
show me your love
