A protest song which asks several important questions of the George W. Bush administration. These are questions I have been waiting to hear someone publicly ask for a few years now, to no avail.

This song is my response to the frustration I feel in watching my beloved country descend from freedom, liberty, and justice for all, into a period of mindless nationalism, theocratic government, brutal retaliatory warfare in Iraq executed in a manner tha

I don't have a worldwide spy network
At my beck and call

Using lies about WMD

"It's just cuz he is a torturing SOB"

What you so rightously condemn
With orders straight from Rumsfeld
Saying it's ok to torture them

Now I admit that this religion thing
Has always confused me a bit
So maybe you could help me sort this out

But there's a place nearby where those freedoms
Are quickly being taken away
