Story Behind The Song

Faye Davis wrote and recorded "Come With Me" after witnessing a close friend deal with the acceptance of her paranormal abilities and a subsequent demonic possession. It was a foundation-rocking ordeal, one that split the core of everyday life. It was a sad, lonely experience ... Faye was powerless to help. All she could do was try to step into her friend's shoes ... "Come With Me" is the result of that process.

There's a definite creepy vibe to "Come With Me", with it's sparse opening of solo voice and eerie piano touches that leads into a deep, vibrational groove. The chorus lifts to a "prettier" place, but the next verse is always there, lurking around the corner ...
